 Premier Day Camp
Established in 1896, Camp Norwich is one
of the ten oldest camps in the United States. Located in the foothills
of the Berkshire Mountains, the camp property includes 137 acres
of picturesque land extending nearly ¾ of a mile along spring-fed
Lake Norwich.
The mission of the YMCA has stood the test of time
with many of the original objectives still the focus today. YMCA
Day Camp Norwich is an experience that seeks to cultivate self-esteem,
improve relationships, teach the value of learning to work with
others, promote the importance of appreciating diversity, and develop
youth into strong leaders and citizens.
