Spring/Summer Swim Team runs April 28th to July 25th! Come try us out the week of April 28th thru May 2nd in the Cool Pool starting at 6:30PM. We encourage new swimmers to come on by, meet the coaches, and have a blast! No need to register.

Pre-Team We are also looking for swimmers ages 4 to 7 years old to join our Pre-Team. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Warm Pool from 6 -6:40PM.

Spring/Summer Schedule

Levels of Team

Pre- Team
For 4-7 year olds who have the ability to swim at least 30 feet (the length of the small pool) without floatation
Focus of this practice is to help young swimmers develop a good feel for the water while having fun
Non-competitive except within the HRY Dolphins Swim Team
Practice twice per week in warm pool:
Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 – 6:40 PM
Swim Time: 2 hours per week
Developmental Team
New/inexperienced swimmers, able to swim 2 consecutive lengths of the large pool (one free, one back),minimum age 6 years
Focus is stroke development for the four competitive strokes with proper starts and turns
Competition includes other area teams, Invitationals, and League Championships. US Swimming is available
Practice 2-3 times per week:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:30-7:30PM
Sunday 5-6:30PM
Swim Time: 4.5 hours per week
Juniors 1
Must be able to perform all four competitive strokes with proper technique, as well as legal IMs, turns, and starts; should be able to read and follow a pace clock, minimum age 8
Training will include endurance building, developing efficiency, gaining speed, and competitive technique
Competition includes other area teams, Invitationals, and League Championships. US Swimming is available/recommended
Practice 3X per week from many options (see Juniors 2)
Juniors 2
Ages 9-12, can swim a legal 200 1M, as well as all four competitive strokes, starts and turns; can read a pace clock
Training will include endurance building, developing efficiency, gaining speed, and competitive technique
Competition includes other area teams, Invitationals, and Championships. US Swimming is strongly recommended
Practice up to 6x per week:
Monday - Thursday 6:30-8PM
Friday 6:15-7:30PM
Sunday 5-6:30PM
Swim Time: 8.75 hours per week
Seniors
Swimmers (mostly 13+) who are knowledgeable, experienced, and proficient in training and competition and are dedicated to the sport of swimming
Rigorous training will include intense swimming, distance and sprint work, numerous drills to improve efficiency, more advanced competitive techniques, and development of pace strategies
Competition includes other area teams, Invitationals, and Championships. US Swimming is strongly recommended
Practices available each week night:
Monday - Thursday 7:45-9:15PM
Friday 6:15-7:30PM
Saturday 6:30-8:30AM
Sunday 5-6:30PM
Swim Time: 10.75 hours per week
High School
Swimmers who practice and compete for high school for part of our season
Must participate in some duel meets and League Championships
You must have Coach approval to sign up for this option
US/NE Swimming
Interested swimmers (registered for HRY Swim Team) -looking for more swim opportunities with our team
Swimmers and families choose most meets and events for US meets (meet entry fees are your responsibility)
