Help us widen the horizon at the Y The Hampshire Regional YMCA is embarking on a three-year, Widening Horizons Capital Campaign with a goal of $1.6 million. At the center of the campaign is partial funding of the Y’s purchase of Camp Norwich, a 137-acre facility comprised of lake, woods and fields in the foothills of the Berkshires, just twenty minutes from Northampton. The Widening Horizons Campaign also includes capital improvements at both 286 Prospect Street and Camp Norwich—as well as a generous scholarship component. As our campaign name implies, we’re committed to doing even more for the community we serve by expanding the breadth and depth of our services. With the addition of Camp Norwich and the Norwich Family Center, members can now enjoy a Y-in-the-woods as well as our downtown facility. Members can also draw sustenance from our growing scholarship fund. More than 170 children and adults received financial assistance this past year. By deepening our pockets, we can open many more doors for senior memberships, childcare, and family and camp memberships.
