 For over 23 years, I served as Director of Camping Services in Pittsburg, Seattle, Rochester, Buffalo, and Detroit before arriving in the beautiful Pioneer Valley in 2002 to reopen Camp Norwich. In 2003 I was asked to take over as CEO of the Hampshire Regional YMCA and to spearhead its revitalization.
My staff and I are dedicated to creating a Y that provides vital services to members of all ages – whether getting your physical health together, learning to swim, looking for a great summer camp, or taking gymnastics classes.
The father of 2 boys, I enjoy raising them in this intellectually, artistically, environmentally, and spiritually vibrant community.Prior to working around the country at Jewish Community Centers and YMCAs, I made my living as a professional jazz musician. I hold a B.S. in Marketing and Environmental Science.
