I moved to the Pioneer Valley for graduate school at UMASS in 1999 and graduated in 2002 with a M.Ed. in Education and a C.A.G.S. in School Counseling.
Following graduation I began volunteering at The Garden as a co-facilitator in the “young teens” group. I have been the director of The Garden since 2006. Helping families with young children and teens find new meaning in their life following the death of someone close has been tremendously rewarding.
My husband and I relocated here from Santa Cruz, CA, and while we miss California dearly we find much to enjoy here in Massachusetts. While at home I enjoy running, cooking and hiking, but if given the chance for a beach trip I love boogey boarding too! We live in Easthampton with our kindergartner, Evan.
