Lost and Found
The YMCA is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property; however, we do keep lost and found items for a minimum of one week, after which they are given away to charity.

AWAY PROGRAM
Members of the Hampshire Regional YMCA are welcome at more than one thousand Y’s nation- wide. As part of a program called A.W.A.Y., the Y offers members the convenience of staying in shape and keeping in touch with the Y when they travel. Annual full- facility members have an AWAY decal on their membership cards. Presenting the cards at participating Y’s will allow the use of the facilities free of charge or at a reduced rate. A directory of participating Y’s is available at the Member Services Desk.

YMCA Rules and Policies

  • Current membership cards must be carried when at the YMCA. Members are asked to present their membership cards at the Member Service Desk when using the facility.
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless
enrolled in a specific program. Parents must pick up children immediately after the end of programs.
  • The Hampshire Regional YMCA does not carry accident insurance for members or program participants. All members and guests participating in program and/or using facilities do so at their own risk.
  • To protect Y staff and members, and to prevent the transmission of blood-borne diseases, you will see the YMCA staff utilizing protective gloves when cleaning sanitary facilities, handling towels and responding to accidents. In the highly unlikely event that you are in an accident in which blood or other fluids from your body spill onto a staff member’s unprotected skin, you may be asked to have your blood tested for the presence of blood-borne pathogens.
  • Please refrain from parking in the circle for the safety of all — especially children. Additional parking is available in the upper parking lot located off Woodlawn Avenue adjacent to the multi-purpose sports court. Please respect our handicapped members and refrain from parking in designated handicapped spots.
  • For the health and safety of all YMCA members and guests, the YMCA is a non-smoking facility, including the parking lot, the picnic area and the playground.

All staff, members and guests must adhere to the Hampshire Regional YMCA’s Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct
At the Hampshire Regional YMCA we expect staff, members and guests to behave in accordance with our mission and values at all times, while respecting the rights and dignity of others. At the YMCA we demonstrate Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Honesty by:

  • Speaking in respectful tones; refraining from the use of vulgar, derogatory or discriminatory language; and dressing appropriately.
  • Resolving conflicts in a respectful, honest and caring manner, and never resorting to physical contact or threatening gestures.
  • Respecting the property of others, and never engaging in theft or destruction.
  • Recognizing the YMCA as a “Safe Zone.” Any item that could be construed as a weapon is not allowed in the building. Additionally, we will not allow illegal drugs in the building or any actions that are hateful in nature.

Adherence to the Hampshire Regional Code of Conduct and regulations is essential. Noncompliance may result in suspension or termination of your membership privileges.
