NEW YORK, N.Y. – 2008 Olympic gold-medalists Shawn Johnson of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Nastia Liukin of Parker, Texas, are two of 24 celebrities who each painted a pair of boots for UGG® Australia’s sixth annual Art & Sole Collection, which raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The boots are being auctioned on www.uggaustralia.com through Dec. 14, and 100 percent of the money raised will go to St. Jude.

Art & Sole is a nationwide program created by UGG® Australia that auctions boots reflecting each artist’s personality and dedication to charity. The program has raised more than $225,000 for St. Jude in three years.

Levels of Team
Our Gymnastics Team offers great opportunities to excel in an exciting and dynamic sport in a safe, enthusiastic, and motivating environment. Gymnasts are introduced to competition when it is appropriate for them physically and mentally.

Level 3 – This is the introductory level of our gymnastics team. These gymnasts learn the routines, and are a part of all events. For athletes on the Travel Team, this is the first year of competition and is always organized by age groups to ensure success for all.

Level 4 and up – The upper levels of gymnastics team (4 - 8) are learning and competing at a higher skill level. They also travel to competitions outside our Western Area League.

Home Team: This year we have decided to add a new section to our team. The Home Team learns the same skills and routines as the Travel Team, however by the gymnast’s or the coach’s decision they do not compete. Home Team athletes still participate in all other team activities. Any level may opt to be part of the Home Team. This will create a space for those athletes who need to focus on skill development without the pressure of competition. The practice schedule will be the same as the regular team, so the cost is the same as a travel team gymnast.
