The Hampshire Regional YMCA is looking for a Site Coordinator in our Afterschool program! We operate afterschool care onsite in 4 different local elementary schools. Starting in December 2023, we are looking for a Coordinator at the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School in Hadley. The Y is an organization that provides our community with the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of age, income, or background. The ideal candidate is connected to the Y’s mission and has a passion for engaging with children.

Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 3-6pm.

Job Duties:

• Lead children and staff through established curriculum including art, science, drama, music and physical education
• Supervise and lead 1-2 staff at afterschool site, providing guidance and feedback
• Establish good rapport with families and provide information on children’s experiences in the program

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 20 years of age
• At least one year of job experience working with elementary-age children
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Leadership experience preferred

$18 per hour
