The Hampshire Regional YMCA is seeking a dedicated educator for our brand new preschool program! This position offers the opportunity to become part of the Northampton community, as well as take advantage of the wonderful offerings and environment of our YMCA. Job Duties:
- Assist lead teacher with implementation of curriculum and daily activities
- Assist with ongoing observations of children in the classroom
- Provide consistent and thoughtful communication to families of children
- Attend and participate in family nights for the program
- Attend regular staff meetings monthly
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children ages 2.9-5 years required
- Must become teacher certified through EEC
- Year-round availability required (including summer)
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS PENDING EEC LICENSING.
$20 per hour
