The mission of the national Y Leaders Club is to strengthen the community and foster a culture of service by instilling the core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility in youth ages 12-18. One of the unique traits of Leaders Club is that everything is run by the members themselves. Under the supervision of YMCA staff and volunteers, teens can make Leaders Club exactly what they want it to be!
Leaders Club meets weekly at the HRYMCA, and gives teens a chance to expand their social circle while becoming leaders within their YMCA and their community. They do this through participating in community service, organizing special events, and attending leadership rally conferences with other youth leaders across New England.
