Camp Norwich Unit Heads are the heart and soul of our camp. They not only supervise and guide all counselors, working with kindergarten through grade 2. Spend your summer making a difference in the lives of kids, teens, and young adults, and make memories that will last a lifetime. This particular Unit Head role works with middle school-age children.

Job Duties

• Supervise counselors in your assigned unit to ensure the delivery of a safe, fun, and smooth camp program
• Provide support & feedback to counselors regarding camper behavior management
• Participate and assist in running camp activities such as swimming, crafts, performing arts, hiking, boating, fishing, and more
• Work with camp directors on administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience as a camp counselor required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills

$20 per hour
