Do you want to positively influence the lives of children and youth, encourage families to adopt healthy habits, and meet the needs of your community? The Hampshire YMCA is looking for motivated Youth Program Instructors to supervise and guide kids through a variety of programming such as our youth basketball league, soccer, ninja warriors, drop-in Teen Center, and open gymnasium supervision.

Job Duties:

• Supervise youth and teens ages 3-17 during programming, as well as assisting with supervision of spaces in the building
• Teach and supervise participants playing sports, games, and activities
• Build a rapport and relationships with teens and youth participating in our programming or making use of our facility
• Ensure all youth are safe during programs and in our facility
• Set up equipment needed for programming

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Childcare experience or education required
• Background in sports, especially basketball, strongly preferred

$15 – 16.50 per hour
